God Loves His Children

God Loves His Children
The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It’s mission is to help people come unto Him and receive His gospel. One of the many glorious truths that is contained within the pages of the Book of Mormon is that God, our Heavenly Father loves us. Oft times we get so caught up with worrying about other things in life that we lose the perspective that God does in fact know us and love us. One of my favorite quotes is from President Ezra Taft Benson who said:

“Nothing will surprise us more than when we get to heaven and see the Father and realize how well we know Him and how familiar His face is to us.”

Those who read the Book of Mormon can feel the love that God has for them. It is spilling out of many verses of the book. For example, in 1 Nephi 11: 16-17 it says:

16 And he said unto me: Knowest thou the condescension of God?

17 And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things.

This video of Kenna touches the heartstrings as she shares her personal experience that at the end of the day, we may not know all things, but we do know that God loves His children.

What a wonderful example Kenna is. What a blessing it is to know that we are the children of God. He loves each one of us individually and wants us to be happy. If we follow the example of Jesus Christ we can return to live with God again.
