Laie Hawaii Temple

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has arguably the most beautiful temples in the world. The first temple was built in the 19th century. Although they are all relatively new structures in comparison to historic temples around the world, they hold true to the architecture, history, and beauty of their respective lands.

Logan, Utah’s temple is timeless and unique. It breaks the mold of most Utah temples built in all white, with its brick detail and castle-like feel.

#7. Bangkok, Thailand

I love how Bangkok’s temple starkly contrasts the colors of the busy city. It stands alone and doesn’t compromise its bold beauty by trying to fit in with the style of the surrounding buildings. This temple is a perfect example of being in the world, but not of the world.

#1. Tijuana, Mexico

The temple located in Tijuana is the most beautiful temple in the world. Hawaii’s land is just as beautiful, but Mexico’s temple is just a bit more magnificent. The arches are comparable to those of cathedrals in Spain, and classic Mexican architecture. The trees, greenery, and brick walkways are true to the beauty of Mexico and add the details needed to take home the title of ‘Most Beautiful Temple’.

  1. I feel The Oakland California Temple could be included . It was the 15th temple to be built and has stood the test of time.

Laie, Hawaii Temple is the most beautiful to me. Followed by Salt Lake City and the Manti Temple. All temples are beautiful but these 3 have special experiences to me and my family. The Jordon Temple and Provo Temple also hold special and beautiful memories of special experiences.

  3. Lincoln Harvey

The style of the Tijuana Temple is exquisite. A compliment to the people of Mexico

  4. Barbara McKown

I was very happy to see the Portland Oregon temple made your top 10. I am privileged to serve as an ordinance worker within that sacred and beautiful temple.

  5. I really think that Lake, Hawaii is the most breath taking. The picture used really sets the beauty off well.

  6. These are beautiful temples, indeed; but nothing can compare to the majestic Salt Lake Temple.
