Had a pretty interesting week. Flew by so fast. I hit 6 months this week and I cant believe how fast time is going by. I don’t like it. Not one little bit. But I just gotta give it my all so that I finish with no regrets.

Nunca sabemos lo que está atrás de una puerta. We knocked on this door and this man came out and started preaching to us for 45 minutes. We kept telling him we had to go because we had to go visit some people and he would say, “What are you gonna tell them? You cant preach about God if you don’t have the spirit!” He then ranted and told us that he had been born of the holy spirit and that God lives inside of him. He said that if you aren’t sweating than the spirit of God isn’t there (hence, the title of this email). He told us a story of when he had cast demons out of a lady and that he was a chosen vessel of the Lord. I wanted to pull the scripture Matthew 7:22-23 out on him put it wouldn’t have helped. I started talking to him with as much power and authority as I could in my Spanish. I basically told him he was wrong, I mentioned some Bible verses to spice up my testimony. But…. That didn’t help either. He was already too far gone. He looked in my in the eyes and said very quietly, “Jesus loves you a lot. Even though you don’t know Him, Jesus loves you.”
This week end the other Jorge Newbery Elders had two baptisms! Two youth that are kids of an inactive member. Vamo! I got to help confirm them so that was a cool experience.
Had a weird dream last night that Elder Renlund was at a zoo and he climbed the fence to the tiger habitat and the tiger jumped up and pulled him over and ate him. Weird. That’s a dream that I know will never happen.

None of our friends came to church yesterday even though 5 of them said they would. Cosas que pasan.
Had some heavenly empanadas for a birthday party this week. I love food.
This week I read a scripture that I love. Doctrine and Covenants 78:7. It says, “For if you will that I give unto you a place in the celestial world, you must prepare yourselves by doing the things which I have commanded you and required of you.” Obedience is the first law of heaven! If we want to enter into the Celestial Kingdom and find eternal joy and happiness, we need to follow his commandments. We need to repent when we mess up, and we need to strive to be better every single day.

I love my mission and am becoming more and more converted every day! If any of you have any questions about the gospel, literally anything, send them my way and I would love to study them out and try my best to answer. But, as y’alls know, the best and perfect answer will 100% of the time come from your loving Heavenly Father!
I love you guys! I gentle reminder to go to the temple as often as you can. Its been 5 months since I’ve gone and I am missing it soooooo much. I give my testimony that the temple is LITTERALY the house of the Lord.
