Bangkok Thailand Temple Project Manager Is Baptized After Working Nearly 4 Years On Temple

After overseeing every detail of the construction of the Bangkok Thailand Temple for nearly four years, the project manager, Anurat Kaeocha, has chosen to be baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was so impressed by the magnificence of the project that it opened his heart to hear the message of the restored gospel and to receive baptism.

Brother Kaeocha said the following on Facebook in his own words:

The 24th of September 2022, is the day to remember. This is the day that I be baptized and convert to follow The Jesus Christ path. This is the day that I have shown all of my Faith is The Heavenly Father. The day, that I was so blessed to be among beloved brothers and sisters. The day, that all of us received the Love from our Heavenly Father. This is the happiest day of me.

It was such a perfect day, which filled with love and great emotion. The day that we have sung the beautiful songs together. Where can I Turn for peace? And Consider the Lilies are really a heart touching one. The day, that I have received very greatest and supportive speeches. It was my unforgettable day.

Thank you for all you have done for me, my Heavenly Father. Please bless us, all lovely brothers and sisters, with your gracious love.

Bangkok Thailand Temple Project Manager Shares Testimony Online

A day later, Anurat shared another post on Facebook with the following message:

I have got the confirmation this morning. From now onwards, I will never be alone. I will have the Holy Ghost as my companion and my guidance.

Many people might be curious about my decision. How can the academic person easily change? I have to say that It is not true, it is not easy at all to convert. Especially when you are educated and have a lot of life experiences. You will always look for a logic reason. To believe or trust in anything is triple hard.

But deep inside, everyone is just a human being. Educated or not, it doesn’t make things different. All men are looking for peace, so do I. I do admit that I felt peace and love in the Church. Every Sunday, I went to the Church. I just sit quietly, look around and listen. I believe that the Heavenly Father helps me to clear my busy mind from the crazy working days. I felt that the Church is filled with the Spirit and Love.

Plus, my work is building of the new Bangkok Temple. I have learned and see all elements of the Temple. I gain the essence of the spirit of the Temple day by day. I do know and believe that I am the chosen one to help build this beautiful Bangkok Temple. I know that I am not the best one, the other project manager can do this job as well or might do better than me, but they don’t get an opportunity like me.

The Temple needs a humble and patient person like me. The Lord, he guides me, leads me and helps me to solve all difficult construction problems.
Am I crazy? Am I brainwashed? Not at all. I made the decision with my full consciousness. Nothing to loose to be a good person. Nothing indeed. I open my mind to have Faith in God.

I always believe that all religions are good. The way of the savior Jesus Christ is also a good way. I don’t need to find all reasons to have a belief. I just know it. If it’s not good, it will be gone long ago on its own. Only the best thing can be exist for a century. I consider good on the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints. I can apply these in my daily life. I can be a good healthy person, moreover I will be blessed.

I feel good, I feel peace. That is important. That is the answer of the Heavenly Father on my prayer. I passed the first step of Baptism and Confirmation. Now I am excited and looking forward to be more blessed. With all love. Anurat Kaeocha

Sister Walker, who is serving a mission with her husband in Thailand shared the following post about Anurat and his decision to be baptized.

Today, Brother Anurat Kaeocha chose to be baptized and become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That’s not an easy thing to do when you have been born and raised in a Buddhist culture.

Anurat with Brother and Sister Walker

It’s not easy when you’re smart and things need to make sense in an academic way. But today, we watched a humble and intelligent man step down into the baptismal font, in front of members, missionaries and even more significantly…his nonmember co workers…and follow the Saviors example.

He’s gained his own spiritual confirmation that God is our Heavenly Father and has a plan for each of us. He understands that Jesus Christ is His Son and his gospel has been restored to the earth. These are powerful truths that enable us to have joy, hope and give us strength to do hard things.

Of all the beautiful memories we’ll take with us from here, today will always be a cherished one!

What a wonderful blessing to learn of Anurat and his decision to follow the Savior Jesus Christ. We are so proud of you Anurat and excited for the Bangkok Thailand Temple to be completed in late 2022 or early 2023.
