I came across a very intriguing question on Twitter and thought it would be very interesting to post some of the answers. The question was, “If you could go back in time to see one historical event with your own eyes, which do you pick?”
Here are some of the responses:
Parting of the Red Sea, don’t think there has ever been something so magnificent to happen in all the world.
Christ’s ministry to the Nephites.
I would like to have witnessed the First Vision.
The Ascension, Gethsemane, or First Vision.
The signing of the Declaration of Independence.
If I don’t have to actually live through it, Noah’s flood.
Sermon on the Mount.
The crucifixion of Jesus or the beginning when God made the Earth.
The resurrection of Christ.
The sinking of the Titanic.
The day Jesus died on the cross.
In Doctrine and Covenants 101 it reads:
32 Yea, verily I say unto you, in that day when the Lord shall come, he shall reveal all things—
33 Things which have passed, and hidden things which no man knew, things of the earth, by which it was made, and the purpose and the end thereof—
34 Things most precious, things that are above, and things that are beneath, things that are in the earth, and upon the earth, and in heaven.
I would LOVE to hear what your answer to the question would be. Please leave a comment. “If you could go back in time to see one historical event with your own eyes, which do you pick?”

The Birth of Our Precious Savior Jesus. Just to have the honor & privilege of holding His precious body, would be beyond any words in the English language. Can you imagine the wonder huh?😊

I would love to have been there when Moses parted the red sea and the children of Israel were able to cross on dry land, and also to have witnessed the waters going back and drownding all the Egyptians who were trying to catch the children of Israel to take them back to Egypt as their slaves.
