If you haven’t heard of the new hit television series about the life of Christ, you’ll hear about it soon enough. After an incredible first season, The Chosen has started filming season 2 in Goshen, Utah on the Jerusalem set owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Director Dallas Jenkins took a few moments this week to update fans on the progress during the first day of shooting. He said the following in a post he uploaded to YouTube:
Whether you’ve prayed, paid it forward, or simply spread the word, you’ve helped me get Season 2 going, and I really want you to take a look at how it’s going.
Below, I give you a sneak peek at Day One of filming, and be sure to check out all our other videos as well, we’ll be giving multiple updates and sneaks every day. Thanks so much, and please don’t slow down the support!
As you can see from the video, filming is different this season with all of the extra precautions that are being taken in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.
The team is doing everything they can including testing, temperature checks, masks, and social distancing where possible.
Many prayers have been raised up on behalf of this series that filming can continue and, as Dallas can attest, many doors have been opened to make this possible.
