What We Can Learn From How Fire Ants React When They Are Caught in a Storm

The following post was shared by Tom Eadie and is shared with permission.

My cousin was in the middle of the storms down south. She posted this remarkable photo of fire ants caught in the storm.

I admire how they gather together, assisting each other, locking themselves together, and as one lifts another, so to does it help the lifter!

In fact, together, this group of fire ants are successfully weathering this horrific storm. We too, will weather this storm as we continue to hold fast to the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Lifting one another, with the assurance that our fellow brothers and sisters, and most importantly, our Savior, are there lifting us above the treacherous waters, keeping us safe from the storms that come.

Perhaps this is why it is so important for Christians to meet together often for worship! God bless us and keep us safe as we begin again to meet and worship together, in person!

“And there was one day in every week that was set apart that they should gather themselves together to teach the people, and to worship the Lord their God, and also, as often as it was in their power, to assemble themselves together.”- Mosiah 18:25

Gerald Causse, who currently serves as the Presiding Bishop, has said: “Unity is not achieved by ignoring and isolating members who seem to be different or weaker and only associating with people who are like us. On the contrary, unity is gained by welcoming and serving those who are new and who have particular needs.”
