Lindsey Stirling, and American violinist with close to 10 million YouTube subscribers and multiple albums, announced today on her Instagram account that she will be joining the cast of Dancing with the Stars.
Lindsey studied film at Brigham Young University and served a mission in New York City for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She has since become a mega-star and tours around the world putting on incredible shows with her unique violin playing method, which she does as she dances.

Lindsey has been very open about her faith and also the challenges that she has had to overcome, including a bout with an eating disorder. She shared her story on Mormon.org’s YouTube channel.
