LDS Member in Prison Writes Letter to Wife, “I Was Kicked Out of Church”

LDS Member in Prison Writes Letter to Wife, “I Was Kicked Out of Church”

Tiana Swank is a dynamic member of the church enduring a hard phase of life as she remains supportive to a husband who is not able to be present physically.

He’s in prison where he has been sentenced to life without parole.

Tiana has felt the need to stick by her husband Wesley, even though it is extremely hard and she has faced opposition for doing so.

In a recent letter that Tiana received, her husband wrote that while attending a Christian service in prison (there were no LDS services available) he was asked to introduce himself.

What happened next is disappointing, but at the same time amazing! If you like happy endings, then this is a video you’ll want to watch. You can jump to the 50 second mark to hear Tiana recount this wonderful example of someone who stands alone, but stands for something. It is truly amazing!

(For those who can’t watch the video, I’ll include a summary below)

After introducing himself as a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to those in attendance at the Christian service, Wesley was asked to leave because Mormons were not welcome in their services. He politely left, and went outside to sit and read from his Book of Mormon.

One by one, people left the service and sat by him and they asked him to read some verses from the Book of Mormon to them. How amazing is that! Way to go Wesley!

Dare to be a Mormon;

Dare to stand alone.

Dare to have a purpose firm;

Dare to make it known.

This is a textbook example of how well he manipulates people. By using a small story like this, he manipulates feelings of those he is in communication with to portray himself in the best light and try to show us that deep down he's a good person. However, it's all a facade... He is an excellent and accomplished manipulator as shown how he twisted his little brother to help him murder his friend to get insurance money after taking out a fraudulent insurance policy on his friend. Now, he and his brother are in prison for the rest of their lives for what they did. Hopefully, he will stay there so he won't hurt other people anymore.

Let us not forget that we all are sinners. And let the Lord be his judge
