Mormon Missionaries March in Martin Luther King Jr Parade in New Orleans

In a Facebook video posted by Heather Olsen Beal, we see a large group of LDS missionaries marching in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade held in New Orleans. Many of the missionaries were holding signs with quotes from Martin Luther King, while others held signs that shared verses from the Book of Mormon. They also carried a sign that said “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints”, with a link to mormon.org.

With all the divisiveness and conflict in our world today, it is reassuring to see people coming together and expressing love and appreciation for that which we have in common. You can watch the video below.
