Camille came across Isaiah 53 in the Holy Bible, and while reading verses 4 and 5, she felt the power of the message and knew that Jesus Christ was her Savior. She felt great sorrow for the things that he had to endure for us, but was grateful for the knowledge of the reality of the atonement of Jesus Christ. The words of Isaiah were also loved by a prophet in The Book of Mormon named Abinadi, who shared these words with a wicked king name Noah in an attempt to convert him to the Lord.
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
